The Olympic silver table tennis team

There has been a recent commotion between the table tennis team coach and the Singapore table tennis association. The table tennis coach felt "insulted" when offered a deal which he think he deserves more than a coaching consultant. The story begins when the team came back with an Olympic Silver medal and the coach was asked to renew his contract. The coach felt that he deserves more after helping the country to win the silver medal. Now the coach has decided to quit. Sometimes, many of such stories outsiders may not know everything about it. I supposed it is everyone's effort when it comes to winning the medal. If one really loves the team and perhaps the feelings put in the team is more important than the rest of the attributes, even if the salary is higher elsewhere, the coach will not leave. If the coach has decided to stay on and can even help the team to win another medal at the Olympics, perhaps the tennis association will give a special reward. Sports reveals characters. It is nice to see the table tennis team to continue as a team. They should continue to concentrate on their performance and win for the country and not let issues of the management affects their passion.
