Kim Yu-Na won at Skate America
South Korea's Kim Yu-Na sweep the title at the Skate America. Yu-Na has been getting bronzes at the past few tournaments but this finally, gold she has won and she sure is pretty happy about it. It was in fact an all Asian sweep at the Skate America where second and third goes to Japan's Yukari Nakano and Miki Ando respectively. Ando was the World Champion for 2007.

Yu-na has a lot of Gold medals. She was undefeated at the Grand Prix last year, and won the Grand Prix Final (beating the eventual World champion and World silver medalist) She also won the Grand Prix Final the year before that too.
However, for the past two season she has gone into Worlds injured. She actually won the short program in 2007 and won the Long program in2008. If she can remain healthy she should at least get silver... Her and Mao Asada are considered to be the best two skaters in the world by a wide margin (that is if the judges are scoring things properly.
Hello bekalyn thanks for the add on yup she has won many golds before in the past. She is a great skater and deserves to win the Gold.
