This is just the thing Singapore is looking forward to! A piece of paper with these words on it at the release of the host for the Youth Olympics 2010.
IOC President Jacques Rogge announces Singapore as host city today and the news was brought to me in the taxi when cheers of the many Singaporeans waiting for the news were broadcast over the radio.
It is a significant moment for all. Singapore though small in size, we have once again proved that we have what it takes. The exciting plan for the event has finally paid off. Now it is the crucial moment to do what it has to make the event a successful one making sure that all the plans are carried out nicely.
