Singapore scores big time at World Cup qualifiers

It has been some time since I want to post about sports scenes. But I was watching Singapore Vs Malaysia today for at the World Cup qualifiers and it was really exciting that I watched on. In the first 30 sec of the match, Malaysia took the opportunity of a missing and slipping header by the defender and shot but was blocked by the goalkeeper. It deflected and the striker shot again and scored this time.

It was really dampened for the Singapore fans as the first goal was put in just 30 sec. But the Singaporeans did not showed any sign of sadness. They pushed on and shortly an equaliser was made by Aleksander Duric, the 40 year old striker when he put in the goal from a nice free kick from his team mate. This striker is fast in his shot and he managed to put in two goals in this match.

When the score was 1-1, a nice and unexpected free kick from the Singapore team made the score to 2-1. Later on, two more goals were put in and all these happened in the first half.

Then a sub player from Malaysia came in and in that instance of few minutes, he scored two goals in! This made the score to be 4-3. The whole match seems to be an on-going exciting scoring period. But Singapore came back with another score to make the win in a convincing style. 5-3 is the final score.

What a nice opening to a World Cup match.

It was a spectacular goal by Lionel Messi at the Champion League's final. But more to that is his good skill play. His agility and speed with excellent ball control made him the current best soccer player of all time. Of course soccer is always about a team game and Barcelona has really played it well at the Champions league final. They have good passes, crosses and finishes. Basically, they play the game their own way and win it beautifully. Besides the spectacular goal moments, the rest of the highlights are pretty interesting to watch too.

At the third round of the French Open 2011, a highly anticipated tennis grand slam that drawn top players around the world to compete, Daniela Hantuchova made her match short and surprising as she won World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki. She waved to the crowd happily and continues to advance to the next round for the grand slam title. Daniela was leading at the start and even though when Caroline rallied up she could not stop her scoring on in straight sets.

 Paula Creamer another top 10 player in the World to be featured in the game.

Natalie Gulbis not a top 10 player but is one of the popular ones in the game.

Avanet LPGA 2011 is coming and this tournament will be held at Magnolia Grove's Crossings Course. The top 10 players in the World will be coming to join this game. In the previous tournament for this event, the cash prize was about $1.4 million. Before Avanet, its previous sponsor title was called Bell Micro and after Avanet bought over it, the name subsequently changed to the current.

In the always deem to be exciting match between Manchester United and Manchester City, the intense 1-1 match took the stadium into the air when Wayne Rooney break the silence and prove that he can still score one of the nicest goals. He did a far scissors kick with speed and power that it went straight to the net. His score close the match at a high note with Manchester United 2-1 against Manchester City.

One of those moments for sports in 2010 is certainly the NBA final between LA Lakers and Boston Celtic. It was really a close match both played well in defense and attack. The score between the two teams was so close even until the last seconds and the Lakers won eventually with 83 - 79 a close margin. Right after game, the Lakers celebrated and received their trophy readily. It was a good match between the two giants.
