There are more surprises for Singapore at the games and one of them is the snooker pair that won gold beating strong rivalries. The stronger sports like swimming and table tennis continue to bring in more golds to the medal tally. At the athletic scene Indonesia runner became the fastest man again and this time breaking his own record. The fastest woman comes from Vietnam with a timing of 11.34 sec. Thailand and Vietnam now top the table as more golds come in from their stronger sport such as Taekwondo where both countries have produced World class players in this sport especially. There are actually medalists in the World Championships and even in the Olympics for this sport. This is also the first sea games whereby another component of Taekwondo which is poomsae is an event. Poomsae refers to pattern and is the artistic sport of Taekwondo. Sparring usually have weight categories and this artistic part do not have. More actions and interesting sports moments to come later on over the next few days from the 25th Sea Games. Great to go to all the players competing in the next few events over the games.
