25th Sea Games

Sea Games 2009 best female athlete is Singapore's Quah Ting Wen.

A beautiful night nearing the games.

The Sea Games 2009 hosted by Laos this year and also their first time has been a success. A small nation that is actually quite laid back has certainly shown that it has progress over the years. Its development and the process of building the facilities has made people of Laos pretty happy. There were comments by the people that this Sea Games has boosted their revenues. A year ago when posted on Sea Games Laos faced many issues of hosting the games such as facilities and etc. But they have pulled it off so well and that they added a little warm by not being a good organizer but a good host to the participants from other nations. Singapore representatives for one are one of those that praised Laos for its hospitality. It was a good game, a good memory for many. Singapore's swimmer Quah Ting Wen has been named as the best female athlete. At the age of 17, she won 4 golds and some silvers. Well done for her and for Laos for hosting an impressive Sea Games.
