Has he lose his touch and not at his prime anymore? Owen missed an opportunity to score against Everton but perhaps what is more disappointing is that he is out of the England team again, despite regaining fitness and form. In actual fact, he has been into good form these days but he is still out in the cold. According to the coach he may be on form but not good enough to score. Some times actually such things are kind of difficult to say as the ball is around he may after all be able to score. But perhaps based on the situation whereby there are also good players around that they are deemed to score better that they are in the squad. But owen, maybe focus on the games that he have now they are still avenues to score and to enjoy the game while getting all the good pay checks.

Its an odd one. People are saying he's been dropped because our team are struggling near the foot of the Premier League. But then Jermaine Jenas gets a call up, and he plays for Tottenham who are playing even worse. Given that Owen has scored almost or just over 50% of Newcastles goals in the last few months, how can people say he's not in form! Without him we'd be proper stuck
